San Antón Festival

Every 17 January, Herencia celebrates San Antón with traditional bonfires and the blessing of animals at the chapel dedicated to the saint. One of the oldest and most deeply rooted festivals in the local calendar, it sets the rhythm of the La Mancha winter with warmth, neighbourly fellowship, and traditional sweets.
