San Isidro Pilgrimage

Every 15 May, the people of Herencia honour San Isidro Labrador, patron saint of farmers, with a pilgrimage celebrating the town's bond with the land. The day includes Mass, the blessing of fields, a communal countryside meal, and open-air activities — a reminder that Herencia is, above all, a land of farmers.
