The Chapel of Saint Bartholomew is one of Herencia's oldest religious buildings, with origins predating the 16th century. It presides over the neighbourhood of the same name, and its annual neighbourhood festival is one of the most beloved among locals. Its simple architecture of understated La Mancha lines reflects the popular devotion that has endured for centuries.
