La Copa (The Cup)

Built around 1946 in the natural area of La Pedriza, roughly 5 km from town, La Copa is an elevated water tank that has become one of Herencia's visual icons. Recently restored, its cylindrical silhouette rises above the vegetation as a reminder of the hydraulic engineering that for decades supplied the town's water to the Fuente del Caño fountain.
